Description Principle Investigator will be the management of the cultural resources group and developing its existing CRM capabilities to include archaeological testing, monitoring, and excavation. The candidate must have two years experience managing cultural resources staff, a Master’s degree in Anthropology/Archaeology, or related field, Ph.D. preferred; at least five years managing CRM projects as a principle investigator or project manager; comprehensive experience with Arizona archaeology; effective communication skills and a strong team player; experience with transportation-related projects is a plus. Requirements Other qualifications should include: • accomplished personnel management and communications skills; excellent archeological research skills and a track record of successful management of projects; • demonstrated experience directing CRM projects; • demonstrated experience in directing the production of quality reports, managing multiple projects, managing personnel, and budgeting; • extensive writing experience; • experience with Section 106 consultations and demonstrated understanding of federal and state historic preservation laws; • experience with NEPA documentation is desirable.
This position may be subject to a pre-employment drug test and drug and alcohol testing during the course of your employment based upon HDR's Drug Testing and Drug Free Workplace Policy.
