Archaeological Field Director: Seeking archaeologists qualified to be a field director (as per BC Archaeology Branch Bulletin 17) on archaeological impact assessments for work in the Northeast and North-Central British Columbia Regions. Must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree with sufficient field and supervisory experience in the Northeast and North-Central BC regions. Must have demonstrated report writing, leadership and communication skills. Applicants must be physically fit and willing to work in challenging conditions. Field Directors must have Class 5 driver’s licence.  Experience with ATVs, snowmobiles, and Level 1 First Aid, Ground Disturbance (IRP 17 recognized) and H₂S certifications would be an asset.

Projected start date for positions is March-May 2012.

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with education and experience.
